I bought mine a year ago for 52K with 1000 miles on it (not sure if DCT adds or subtracts to the value, but otherwise they are identical).

Took a month to find the car I wanted, and then I traveled 2000 miles to buy it and I shipped it home. Time or money...

Every car I have bought, except one, made me wonder if I the deal I did was OK or not. The last new car I purchased had me ask myself if I got enough for the trade. Two weeks after the purchase of that car there was an even bigger discount advertised for that model in the paper.

Bottom line-It has been a great automobile for us. No problems at all in 73 k miles.

I guess we got the one we were supposed to have...

Yeah, enjoy the car. It's a car, not an investment. Car value moves in one direction...down. Get it good and warmed up, find a nice back road, and wind the engine up to 8,000 RPM, find some corners, and drive the damn thing! If that doesn't make you feel better nothing will. Try it.

Seriously, This is a low mileage car in excellent condition. You may find lower priced car out there but they will definitely be higher mileage and possibly in a worst shape. Overall not a killer deal but not the worst deal either. Who cares, you already bought it. Enjoy the car!

Yes you paid too much for your car, but any of us that bought our house anytime between 03-06 paid way too much on our house. If you can afford it just enjoy it to the fullest. Life is too short.

I see no problem with slightly overpaying to get EXACTLY what you want. I'm picky and I've been looking for a used m3 and am having an extremely tough time finding exactly what I want. I'd gladly pay an extra $2k to end the search. Patience is one thing, some of us work really long hours and I'd much rather be relaxing/driving than continually searching for the best deal on a rare set of options.

I wouldnt get too hung up. Just because private party is $48k, dealer price is a little higher. This is a very difficult car to find configured how you want. Its not like they are on every corner for sale like a 328i black non sport auto. If you got what you like enjoy it.

And again, if you wanted that car right now, could you even find it? And at a killer deal? It could take you months to find that same car again.

So just b/c some are selling at lower prices, dont sweat it.

That's right about what I paid, 8 months ago, for a 2008 with same mileage and many more options. At that time I was thinking I paid too much. So yeah, I think you overpaid, but no matter....just enjoy it now.

edmunds seems to be way off the mark for prices

ive checked auction listing, nada, kbb, edmunds is a good 5-7 lower.
