Road America is definitely a go... the M3 is going to love those long straights! So it's a must. I'm just not sure if I'm going with the Audi club or Alfa club yet. It all depends on what kind of other trips the gf has planned.

Yes, it's a DCT. I always shift with the paddles so you won't see my hands come off the steering wheel. I've found it helps me drive a lot smoother instead of using the DCT lever. In my previous car where I actually had to heel-toe, I was not as smooth especially when I occasionally botch a 4-3-2 downshift right before trail-braking deep. We can't all be like Walter Rohrl
