Cf splitters

Going to install cf OEM BMW splitters , should I use betalink or 3m tape?

Only one screw is used unless you drill the bumper for the second one.

OP, just use 3M tape.

+1. 3m and the one screw hole that is already drilled. No need to add the extra holes in your car. I had had mine on for quite some time and unfortunately put them through their paces with no issues at all.

I drilled the extra hole and used 3M tape on upper edge. I watched this DIY on how to install.

+1 3M tape works very well. Betalink is somewhat permanent. So if you use betalink and hit something on the road, breaking one/both of your splitters, or even change your mind about them, you'll wish you used 3M tape.

Exactly what I was thinking, if i damaged one id want tone able to slip it off without damaging my bumper. Thanks for the input . Does it sit loose with 3m? Any play ?

Try to find 3M outdoor grade double sided tape. And yes, there should be two screws on each side IIRC...

When I banged up my first set of OEM-reps and replaced them, the 3M tape took off some of the paint from the bumper! Yea, I think 3M tape will hold the 4 oz (or whatever it is) splitter just fine!

...and yes, I repaired the paint chip before replacing.
