if you read my previous post you will see I state that "Laguna Seca Blue" is not available for the E92 M3 including as a custom "Individual"color .
BMW execs tried and tested previous colors for the E92 M3 and discontinued certain colors that did not fit with the sleeker body style of the E92. Laguna Seca Blue was one of them. While there is demand in North America for this color there is no demand in Europe or Asia to warrant a reintroduction. Whilst you ask that can you order a "special color" what happens in Germany is that your order is flagged up indicating it is not a country specific model. Your countries distributor is notified who in turn notifies your dealer that the order cannot be commenced as it is not specification for that country. Specially built "Individual" packaged models such as the Neiman Marcus M6 will still continue to be available but handbuilt special customer models will not be available for North America. |

If you do work for BMW, perhaps you could contact Larry so that we can get the answer on this for those that are interested in doing this type of order. Thanks,

Still no step-by-step guide for how to get a custom color, be it LSB or any other.
I honestly think that the first step in such a guide would be: Step 1: Know exactly the right people at BMW USA, and be prepared to bribe them. |

In some other post they said that the company that made LSB paint went out of business. But since that company owned the name "Laguna Seca Blue", BMW could never offer this color again. They probably could mix up a batch to look just like this but could not offer it with the same name.
If the OP does succeed in getting this then please do us all a favor and post here what you did to get it.

My wife owns an Laguna Seca Blue M3, but it`s an E46 (2005). When i ordered my E90 M3, i asked the dealer if i could`t order the E90 M3 in Seca Blue and i was told it was possible. So why can`t you guys from the states order a custom color?.
Here are some pics of my wifes car: |

As I hint above, I think maybe its just that no one has yet offered up enough money to the right person. |

I know I'm repeating myself but, in the USA, you can't get that color. I spoke with dozens of people with bmw NA over quite some time. It's just not possible at this time.
YOU CAN GET LSB IN THE US IF....... you purchase the car in Canada but, you'll pay more for the car & options, get a 2 yr warranty, pay additional for the individual package, double taxed & pay an additional fee to make it ok with the US DOT. |
