HELP! To People Who Have OEM Springs Laying Around for E92 M3 or E90 M3
I have a set of OEM springs for an E92 M3 and another set for an E90 M3. The problem is I don't know which is which! One set is labeled X2 (imprinted and on a sticker); the other set is labeled X3 (imprinted and on a sticker).
I need to put the OEM springs back onto my 2010 E90 first thing tomorrow morning and need to know if I should be putting the set of X2 or the set of X3! For those of you who have an E92 or E90 and happen to have your springs laying around, please tell me what the label says and let me know if they came off an E92 or E90. Thanks! Ok seems like the trend is if the car doesn't have much options and is lighter you get x1 or x2.
If you have more options (like sunroof) then you get a higher x number. Since I have an E90 with a sunroof, I'm guessing the set of springs labeled x3 are the ones that came off my E90. Does that sound right? |

Doh...lol...I don't know what to do. I had a 2008 E92 M3.....that's why I have an extra set of springs (sold that car and kept the OEM springs).
So maybe my 2010 E90 M3 used the X3 springs? Help! |
