wife takes car out 1st time = crub rash in Rim!

car is 2 months old and 1st time the wifey takes it out she manages to put a pretty nice curb scratch on the front rim!! FML

anyone know a reputable Rim repair place in Fort Lauderdale?

I know tubamax and this other place in hialeah do good work, but anything in the fort lauderdale area?

Very sorry to hear this.

My wife makes fun of me for how far I park from curbs, etc. I always tell her it is because it only takes once to f'up my $3,500 rims or the crack the front bumper. EVERYTIME she takes the car out I remind her how pissed I'll be if something happens because I have NEVER had an issue myself. Suffice to say she doesn't drive it much because she fears the wrath of me (not really, I fear her more than she fears me actually

).

I have never seen a repair that I would be happy with. The finish always looks different.

A new rim is the only way if you are fussy

I've had my stock 19 fixed once and I thought the work was perfect. Your right that the finish will be different as you can't replicate the grooves from tooling and if you look from very very close you can tell but if you stood up and had to pick out the spot I couldn't do it.
