Don't you just love carbon fiber - a little off topic!
I replaced my brushed aluminum interior trim with OEM carbon fiber recently. Not that I have anything against the brushed aluminum, however, i seem to be smitten with carbon fiber on this car! The roof looks so cool, and, in Alpine White, really compliments the looks (in addition to being functional). So I didn't stop there, my bicycle is all carbon fiber - frame, stem, seat post and pedals, anyway, i thought I would post some images of my bicycle and my car just to make it a little more interesting!

No issues with CF on the cars as long as it's not overdone. Seen a few where it just gets plain gaudy. Nice bike...

That's a sweet bike!
I love Carbon Fiber, from its looks to its versatility in all sorts of applications its a remarkable product. Its gotten soo mainstream though you see cheap "carbon fiber" replicas popping up everywhere and people constantly over doing it. It cheapnes the exclusivity of it. To the casual observer they don't know the difference and what makes something like a V weave so unique.

I recently saw a carbon fiber hood overlay on a Honda! It was about 5-8mm thick so this wasn't a sticker but an actual overlay that goes on TOP OF the existing hood so you can look like you have a CF hood - wierd. Of course these are the same cars people had extra heavy exhausts, wheels, etc. to without doing anything substantial to the motor so they end up slower than stock in the end...bizarro.
