Porsche can get away with focusing more of performance cars because most of there cars fundamentally are small and light weight. BMW makes to many fat cars so they have to compensate for that. in other words, i to will be switching to Porsche. |

I'll be keeping this M3 for decades since it'll be a classic and the last of its breed, but only Porsche or the new Z06 and some AMG's will be in my sights. Probably some exotics/supercars when I have the money to afford them.
The earth has so much oil left though, I doubt we've even used up 25% of its reserves. |

I currently have both a 997.2 GT3 and an ESS 625 E90 M3.
If I had to DD the GT3 I would end up disliking it and selling it. I drive it to work every once in a while when I really feel up to it. But it would get tolling everyday. The GT3 makes the M3 feel like a lexus in traffic, but the GT3 is such a rewarding drive. It has a great feel, even in a straight line but I prefer it in shorter stints, where the M3 is great for all times but doesn't feel nearly as special.

You about performance? If you are then GTR 100% for sure, absolute baddest car you can get for under 200k. Will beat on Turbo S P car in every category.

Well, I came from a m6 and z06 to a gt3 and I did miss the power at first. Almost like I forgot to push the power button on my m6... But I came to respect the linear power curve and precise, well everything. It's just an amazing overall precision tool.

If you were to get a gt3 and learn to drive it right, it will not only blow away your e46 in stock form but will be more rewarding too. There's a reason the gt3 is the best Motorsport car in the world. And the 997 will only be topped by the 991 gt3. Last edited by Wolfinwolfsclothing; 09-23-2013 at 09:27 AM.. |

Minus the livery scheme I don't care for I totally agree. Closest I'll get to one will be a 997.1 3.6l with Sharkwerks 3.9 conversion... which I'd be more than happy to own
