...is the Windscreen worth it or not?

Just wanna ask the opinion...debating on getting the windscreen for the M3 vert. Is it worth it? Does it make a difference with or without it?

Yes, it's 100% worth it. Makes a noticeable difference in the amount of wind swirling around in the front seat. It's also very noticeable with the top up and all windows down. Much reduced wind noise.

They are not reps they are OEM 19" M6 rims. I don't know why Persian54 says they are reps when he doesn't own my car and doesn't know me either

I bought them off a guy in Seattle. I am using my OEM rims as my winter rims as the M6 rims are wider and sit flush with the sides of the car better (i.e. without spacers) ---- so I use them for my summer set now. Plus I like the look of 5 spoke > 10 spoke

Hey guys..I recently bought the wind deflector(aka windscreen) on ebay, just wondering whether I got the real deal. Is it fully a plastic frame with mesh? Jdubya what's a SmarTop? By the way am new to this forum and this is my first post.

Was worth it when I had my E46 M3 vert. Drove around in 37 degree weather with the top down and barely felt the chill. Of course I was wearing a winter jacket and driving gloves and had the heat and seat heaters on full blast. All that got cold were my eyes (no hat).

First off...it makes a huge difference. I had the dealer order mine from BMW. It is plastic and mesh and comes folded up in a storage sack. Cost around $500

Totally worth it. Search online for it though. I got mine from Morristown BMW (via online sale) and it was $429. You won't be sorry.
