Cool State Trooper

So I am in the driver's license bureau renewing my license when a tall, black Mississippi State Trooper loudly asks who owns the blue BMW outside. I tell him that it's mine and he proceeds to tell me what a fine car it is.

Pretty soon, the State Trooper and all of the clerks follow me outside to take a closer look at my car (the bureau was not that busy). \

After the clerks go back inside, he and I spend the next 45 minutes talking about my M3 and his Chevy Trailblazer SS. Turns out he really knows his cars. He picks up on just about every detail and thinks the M3 is one of the nicest cars he's seen.

Needless to say it was a great conversation, but I did not offer to race him out of the parking lot...

My neighbour 2 houses down the street is a Policeman ... he drives a GT and loves my M3 I told him he can take her for a spin, when he does I will naturally be in the passenger seat. For if he gets stopped I like to see the conversation.

Like for example ... "What you want? Piss off! I am a just checking the speedometer besides I am a policeman also" He is a cool down to earth fellow.

Say just thinking did you ever have the Russian Potato pancake with a beer the have in front of the Köllner Hauptbanhof? If not next time you over there you should it's just steps down from the Köllner Dom

Should get his number and continue to chat. Doesnt hurt to have a good State trooper friend. They dont have to call someone from another county to help you out. They can always help no matter what

Great suggestion. I did get his name and thought I'd stop by there next week and tell him how much I enjoyed the conversation - maybe even offer him a ride. Hey, I live in a small town.

You should definitely give him a ride, better yet hand him the keys and let him go for a ride with you in the passenger seat. Having a state trooper as a friend is a good thing to have, especially as a fellow enthusiast.

I caught a cop (German Polizei) taking a pic of my car. When I approached him, in broken English, he said "M3... The best!" with a thumbs up. It was really funny.

I have had a couple of pictures taken by the Polizei...they are kind enough to send them to me in the mail.
