My initial feelings were exactly like ^^ everybody else's posts above...including Golfferr who can't say anything bad about anything
 But to me, this is very complementary to the outgoing e92 M3 in that BMW M Gmbh has made soooo many special editions of the car without improving on performance at all. All the special editions have the ZCP and carbon package, that you can get on any e92 M3. Even the M performance exhaust adds all of about zero HP (for USD $3,999). And peeps are buying these special editions at large mark-ups...maybe not as fast as BMW M would like...but still. IMHO, the e9X M3 is already a legend and they are still selling it new

I'm pretty sure BMW isn't adding on any performance to these "special edition" M3s because the new M3 will not have a significant power increase at all.

Isn't this really old news since it was revealed like two weeks ago? For the record, I'm still not a fan of the special editions that don't add anything special beyond paint. DTM special editions should have better performance.

Hate to resort to memes, but on this occasion I really am disappointed. This was the perfect opportunity to do a final edition of the M3, but we got one of the tackiest looking editions instead.

Bravo BMW. You created something that would have received an "if you like it that's all that matters" reaction on Bimmerpost and made it an official special edition.
Meanwhile, I hope your real engineers are cooking up something special for the F80. How about a performance/power pack, brake options, seat options, cosmetic packages?... You know, Mercedes and Audi type stuff, not fucking colors and stripes.

I'm too tired to think of a funny way of saying that there a far too many fucking M3 special editions.
Maybe sales aren't good enough of the M3 and they have a load of parts to use up. |
