will a E92 M3 handle a hard launch on some DR?

im gonna be picking up my mickey thompson et street radials and was wondering if my car can handle the burn out and a hard launch???

Of course it can. I say that based on common sense and actual posts from members who have ran at the strip with DR. The obvious caveat is that you WILL experience much great wear and tear on your clutch and other drivetrain components from using the car in this fashion. It is not a drag racer.

i pulled a couple mid 1.65 to 1.67 60' times and the clutch held great.... no problem.. that was 10k miles ago...

i would just be worried about the diff but i think it can handle it..

not sure if you seen this video, thought i saw it on here somewhere but...e46 breaks at drag strip on stock tires

why not to drag you m car...lol

im not going to drag this car every wkend, im pretty much done with my bolt ons for now and i see what i can do. for me, ive been drag racing since i first started driving. so its a no brainer for me.

sweet 60ft, what tires/size did you run? what was your 1/4 and trap?

i was on stock tires.. stock 18 inch wheels.. and a very well prepped track...

it was 1/8th. i ran a 7.8 at 87

Don't get caught out on rain. Its hydroplane dangerous cuty. Been there on my Procharged Camaro and won't ever do that again.

well if its raining im not going to the track. im mounting my DR on my stock 18's
