Will '08 M5 TPMS work on my '11 M3???

Ive noticed everyone labeling their tpms by model years and what not but is there an actual difference between '08 and '11? Or even between E60 and E92? I highly doubt it would not work if i put them on my car. I know bmw uses the same frequencies on all of these. But i could always be wrong
Anybody know?
thanks

For most of BMW models, 2010 is the year of TPMS model changes. Simply put, your 2007 -2009 model TPMS will not work for 2010+ models.

Email me if you have more questions
