2 vs 4 resonators?
I had the Dinan mids (quad resonated) and Dinan rear on my last E92 and it sounded great, no drone.
All other things being equal, if I go with 2 resonators only, does this "in theory" increase rasp only or drone as well? Any other input would help... |

Most of the systems I have seen that run 4 have less drone and rasp than systems running 2.

I am just looking for more options for midpipes other than dinan. Gintani has quads as well but are at the same price point. I may end up trying 2 resonators... I really enjoyed that sharp tone I got from the Dinan... |

I had a local shop build mine here in Miami. Started with a 2 resonator setup and wound up adding 2 more. Aero Turbines, nice resonators. 4 removed most all of the rasp. It all depends on what muffler is run. I was running a Hartge rear section which has a little rasp to begin with so it needed 4 to really back it down. |

If I were to do it all again, I would buy the cheapest catless/non resonated mid-section with good fitment and logical bends.
I'd install 2 Vibrant 1792's in front of the X section and 2 Vibrant 1792's behind the X Section. Party. |
