Hey Guys,
I am looking to replace my rod bearings on my car. I am not having any issues, but i am approaching 100k so i guess i am just worried. I am looking for a local shop (san jose bay area) and also cost if anybody has done them recently.

thanks

I recommend reaching out to playskool1 . He's located in union city and his rate is extremely competitive compared to the "go to" shops around the bay.

He has done my rod bearings and is currently working on another member's e92 m3 this week. He is extremely meticulous with his work and even did plastigauge measurements for each bearing which basically doubles the amount of work required. Feel free to reach out to me or him for any questions.
