VERY important

Why?

When you open the top, ALL of that weight goes to the back

You need to remove that exhaust, replace it with a stock system (or one that will clear the e93) and have the bars installed

That idiot you bought it from obviously didn't know what he was doing

Ah crap! That's gonna be a pain in the ass. Well, I guess it shouldn't be too hard to find an m3 stock exhaust to trade for mine, but I'll probably have to buy that cross brace thing.

I'm open to trading my aftermarket exhaust for a stock one with a brace to a local guy...

I think you should spend the $$ to buy a stock rear just to get it fixed asap

If it comes down to it, I will. So far, I'm not putting the top down, but I'm sure bmw structural/mechanical engineers knew what they were doing when they put that in. It's not like they'd spend more money and add more weight for something that is not necessary.

I keep the top up and drive gently until I get this problem resolved. It seems like a lot of people want to jump on the exhaust trade, so either I'll order those parts for the brace or the person who wants my exhaust will order the parts. Thanks to everyone who brought this to my attention. I never would have known otherwise!

It's a Texas car. I think the trucker is picking it up late tomorrow or thursday morn so I guess I might have it by Monday!

Will definitely be looking for some smaller / different wheels
Did it have flood or hail damage. We had a ton of this crap over the last 2 months. What part of Texas is it being picked up at?

It was picked up at Boardwalk Audi in Plano, Texas, but a few weeks ago. My friend flew down and drove it up. He arrived back in Vancouver here last Tuesday.

The paint looks mint, like a brand new car without even any swirl marks.

I got a feeling I'm just going to have to eat the cost of these parts and an exhaust as nobody local seems to be interested in the trade. I'll probably get some partial recovery of some money with the sale of this exhaust though.
