Yes - just had it done on my new M3 delivered yesterday.
It is some sort of molecular bonding agent that is used on jet aircraft to protect them from the elements. Jets like Air Force 1. Jay Leno is a "compensated endorser" of this product I think... It is claimed to provide a 10-yr protection from dead bug stains, tree sap, road salt on hoods and mirrors for example, given that you get a reapplication done at the 5-yr point...and I think the reapp is free. Obviously, no protection from rock chips... It is somewhat similar to the Swizol Nano tech wax process as I understand it... Pentagon Car Sales here in Ramstein is a selling agent if you want to google it... Hope that helps...by the way, I've attached a photo of my car at delivery immediately following the treatment.

yes, basically junk!
buy some sealant and apply to your car and bam, pretty much the same thing at a fraction of the cost! Its a HUGE dealer upsell!!! The mark up is something like 2000% (they can sell for $400-1500 bucks) |

Thanx I found some guys whom has had it on their vehicles for some time one to two years, and they say its an awesome product. Apparently very easy to wash the car after an onslaut of bugs and brakedust. The one guy invited me to his place to come see for myself. Aparrently he has never in two years needed to wax the car still shiney as the day of the app. Ill keep an update on my impressions!

The problem with those other alternative cheap sealants and waxes are they dissappear after a few weeks at best months. Cilajet gives you a 5 year guarentee that it will last! Mmm if thats true $650 aint bad? Basically $10 per month thats not bad at all!

Just the fact it is a permanent coating that must be polished/compounded off to remove. To apply the coating I would seek at the very minimum a professional to do so. It is worth it.

It takes some hands on experience to understand when the product "flashes" so you can quickly apply more or wipe off to make the surface level.
That is all It is some STRONG stuff let me tell you... -Martin |

I found a friend of mine who applied Cilajet to his M3 and X5 around a year ago and let me tell you they looked like they were detailed yesterday! We poured water on them and it still beades. His X5 was dirty and we washed some bugs off the front and it was a breeze to clean it and so were the wheels! Having my car done this week. Great product!! With a 10 year guarentee!!

you do know they offer the guarantee because no one really keeps their car that long, and or people dont stay on the yearly/bi-yearly maintenance program which will negate the warranty.
my sister got he protection package and has to do her car every 6 months, miss one, and the warranty is void! |

No its a one-off application that lasts for 5 years guarenteed and I keep my M cars for at least 5 years. No insurance co will insure a latend defected product.

Cilajet was applied to my car before purchasing as it was a display model in the showroom. I would definitely get it applied to my next car, whenever that may be as washing the car is extremely painless as dirt and bugs spray right off. I do not need to even put a towel or a cloth to the body at all. Using demineralized water from the wash station prevents me from even having to dry it. Just spray with soap, rinse with the water and drive away. Painless and my car looks brand new today with no swirls.
