Even with the increase on the BBK pricing its not too bad although I'm sure ST will lose some hard parkers and non-hardcore track guys.

yes i am and may be back to them although im thinking more of a full race pad from now on not endurance. i will edit my stupidity. hard parkers are the core of this community remember.

Damn...forgot this was in the general E9X M3 forum.

With brake pads, different folks, different strokes. I think the Pagid Yellows are a great pad...just not my cup of tea. I'm really keeping an eye on how long the yellows last in another E46 M3 with a 4 wheel ST BBK. If they last a lot longer then I might just go with the yellows.

Remember...I put the "B" in Budget HPDE'er!

yes i know you did. keep me posted on your following of your friend on pagids and let me know what you come to. im not sure im headed back there though. once you get a taste of the good stuff you dont want to slum it.

Nice build, I am sure that someone has asked already but 17 pages and no patience. How do you compare this to your E9X? I saw a post where you made the same lap time as your E9X on the first lap out.

My first track day at pacific raceways I equalled my fastest lap in the e90. I have been going to the Ridge more and have shaved over 4 seconds a lap off there now. This is a much more serious car and handling is far superior. This however is due to the build. My e90 was relatively stock. Stock brakes, and suspension anyway. Just had pads, lines, tune and catless. This car also gets more attention, because RACE CAR.

I know when I swapped over to coilovers on my STi I felt like I was on train tracks. I can't imagine what that cage alone does for a difference.

had first track day with the st-40 kit. started out a little shaky feeling the new set up out. took about half the day to get it fairly dialed in. this video is the last session i believe and my battery died part way thru. i had 9 laps within 1 second and my front straight top speed 6 laps in a row was within a tenth. chased around a 997.2 gt3 for almost the whole session but only get to see a bit of it. kinda pissed it cut out as it was a pretty fun set of laps. he would pull away the front straight then i would inch back the entire rest of the track.

here is another on with some cts-v wtf moments because they tried combining b and c which made my closing rate seem like 50mph on a few of the cars. gives you a sense of the track. few quicker laps in the mid 1:58 range. looking to get it to 1:56ish. still in download so will be up around 9:30 maybe.

nice car! But unlike you, I elected to forgo mods on my car. I went from a 09 M3 to a 08 328i. I'm thinking about swapping out my sport suspension for softer base versions.
