Wolverine Died
I just finished reading Death of Wolverine 1-4. While it was good all I can think is.... ... dammit. It's too bad to see such a cool character go. I did like how it ended though. Who else here read it? What'd you think? |

Haven't read actual comics in a long time, but I still take a few minutes every week to catch up on my webcomics.
And since you are such a Deadpool fan, I thought you'd like this one.

I literally just wasted 10 minutes of my life crying and drawing pictures of Pretty Princess because I thought Hugh Jackman died

Please tell me how I would be able to get the full story. Is the story available online for free, or is this something that has to be purchased?

Ok cool. Thanks for the heads up.
Wolverine is one of my favorite fictonal characters of all time. I haven't kept up with any comics since I was a kid, but I would like to keep current with status of my favorite fictional characters. I know much has changed over the years, but I'm surprized the death of Wolverine didn't get some publicity... maybe this character's death is not as buzzworthy as the "Death Of Superman"... but still, the Death of Wolverine shoud have gotten SOME notice from the press... or am I missing something?

haha I would have made the subject "Hugh Jackman died"
When I wrote about Robin Williams death I didn't say "Mrs. Doubtfire died", I said "Robin Williams died" |

I find it funny when people think that the actors that portray iconic characters on TV or film are the actual characters they are pretending to be. Ironically, Hugh Jackman didn't "create" the Character Wolverine... The character of Wolverine was brought to life and stood on his own DECADES before his first big screen debute portayed by Hugh Jackman. It is my humble opinion that the character Wolverine "made" Hugh Jackman. Actors are just that, actors. If somoee played a doctor in a movie or on TV, would you trust that actor to perform real life medical procedures on you or your loved ones...? People give the actors WAY too much credit, IMHO. I know I am in the minority here, but I never went to see a movie just because of the actor starring in said movie... I don't care who is doing the acting... it's the actual story that will captivate my imagination. Not the face telling the story. Sorry to get all ranty about this, but this conversation comes up from time to time, whenever someone says "did you see the latest Denzel Movie? It was great! He is so awesome"! Them my reply is "what movie...? The Equalizer...? I found it to be higly predictable and comedic at times, so at best it was, Meh"... You KNOW I get beat up all the time for comments like that... but I always enjoy a good sparring match/fight

Good thread idea: Characters who made movies vs actors who made movies.
