What's the chances of getting 2 speeding tickets in a day??

Damn long drives! Decided to visit my mom in MA. On the way up & got pulled over in Bedford Hills, ny. Then decided to cruise control it at 70...got pulled over a second time in Ghent, ny on the Taconic. Could anyone recommend a traffic lawyer at these towns?

Dang man, sorry to hear, that's some bad luck...it sucks, in these cars, 80mph feels like 30mph...

You have radar?

Why didn't you set cruise control at 60?

Sucks and sorry to hear it, I'd recommend you Google search a lawyer and look for reviews where they cite knowing the local prosecutor.

All states are all broke, so the cops / state are now hard core busting anyone and everyone they can. I noticed more than the usual amount of cops around the area recently, especially state troopers trying hard to hide and bust people.

If you have the cruise set at 70 on the Taconic, I'd be shocked if you didn't get a ticket! A 55 limit, lots of hiding places, and lots of cops make it the perfect road to get nailed on.

not only hide, but actively tail you at your blind spot to see if you'll take off or do something erratic. I've notice this happen a couple times already, cop driving up fast from a distance, sit in my blind spot to see if I do anything. Luckily I'm very aware of who and what is around me.

No radar. Thought about it a few weeks ago when I got the smarttop module installed. Kicking myself in the ass right now.

Kind of hurts to even do 70.lol. Think the solution is a different type of car for long drives.

Am I nuts, or does that seem like the flow of traffic? I've only been on it a handful of times, but its always seem that way. He was on my ass for a few minutes before he pulled me over and asked a bunch of questions that was irrelevant.

Thanks working on that now. I'm hoping for just high fines and no points.

Sure, np. Sometimes you can plea deal higher fines with a guilty plea, but no points. You might have that option in your state.
