2013 M3 ED completed, pics

I dropped of my 2013 M3 in Vienna last Friday, the ED program is great, definitely a lifetime experience. When I picked it up, I had to drive the indoor lap behind the M3 Safety Car at the Welt, that was quite amusing.

I broke it in in Bavaria and on Autobahn. Then I drove to Austria and Slovakia, that was a bit of pain to keep it under the limit, it's so hard to keep it under 35 mph

. The car is amazing, pure driving pleasure indeed.

My config: space grey & Silver/Black interior, carbon trim. Once it's in US, I'll probably put some nice 19" wheels, black grills, tint, bra and a diffuser

Dude, that was you? I shot this from the upper deck of BMW Welt after taking delivery a little earlier in the day. I got out of the Museum, went over to grab lunch and saw your car getting paced! License plates match!

You got my space (Tomczyk) from earlier in the day too!

Haha that's funny! You said you were picking up on Saturday, I got delayed because of the storms and got to Europe just on Saturday.

I see you dropped off in Frankfurt, did you do Nurburgring?

Yeah it was a 9:20a delivery on Sat.

Didn't do Nurburgring, but did get past 1200 miles so had a few super high speed runs on the autobahn just to get it out of my system. The highways were awesome!

How fast did you go on Autobahn. I went up to 140 mph, but since I was still breaking it in, I didn't want to push it

160mph (so probably just hit 155mph roughly before the limiter)

But I had already crossed 1200+ miles at that point. I dropped off with 1425 miles.

I dropped it off with 1083 miles, hopefully the dealer will service it before my pickup. Separation sucks

I'm sure if you ask your dealer they may be willing to do that for you early.

I'm past the 1200 mi mark, so the vehicle prep center should be taking care of that, as well as install my M performance exhaust etc. when the car finally hits state-side before I do PCD.

That'd be cool! My vehicle status code hasn't changed all week (just shows my car was retailed), Owner's Circle says the production was completed, and the 800 number status is way off (says my car is in transit). Been a week since I dropped off, so hoping early next week I see it's official status as checked into Bremerhaven waiting for a ship.
