Sorry if this is an inappropriate place to ask but: how much do you think used 09's will be going for around this time next year? Looking to purchase then (used, around 10-20,000 miles or less ideally).

Thanks in advance.

Sparks, NV asking price was $58,500 purchase it for Pay Off Price $54,367 from his bank and paid cash $1633= total $56k

Private seller, he was going through some financial issues... so for me it was a plus!

I am looking to trade my 2009 335i with 38k miles for M3. One of the dealers here has one in stock, same place where i got my 335. It is 2008, 25k miles, 6MT, Premium package, Technology package, cold weather package, moonroof, parking sensors. How much should i pay for this M3? dealer is asking 45k plus tax, title and license..From what i'm reading here, i should offer $40k otd, especially it has these nasty shiny rims which i hope they can replace for the stock ones..

Thanks

Just a quick update, I bought one today

2008 E93 M3
39,900 miles
$45.3K
$80.52K Original MSRP so its well equipped.
Overall really good shape, not even curb rash on the wheels.
No CPO

What made this a really good deal was my trade, they gave me a few thousand over what I expected on the trade..so it all worked out.

Finally pulled the trigger on one yesterday.

2008 E92 M3
Interlagos Blue
49,000 miles
$38.5K
All options except the 19's and the ipod hookup.
No CPO, but all maintenance was recently performed by the BMW dealership who originally leased the car.

Painted markers and black grills to come shortly.

That's great. I'll be looking for a very similar deal soon, but in Melbourne Red in BB. Not having a lot of luck right now.

Congrats!

I'm looking at basically the same exact car but with 46,000 miles CPO but dealer wants $47k before taxes...

What should I try and get him down to? $45k?

Can't agree completely on price and didn't know how much more the car is forth. In a few months the warranty is done and car will certainly be less desirerable. I can do most work myself so it doesn't bother me too much, but the market usually is not kind to cars out of warranty.

Why limit yourself to $45k? Go lower if you want to pay less, don't worry about hurting the dealers feelings. For what it's worth I got my 08 E90 w/ 47k miles, tech, prem, 19s, cold weather, etc for $35k.

That's a pretty good deal. Only thing you were missing is CPO

Yea I just picked up the 7/100k powertrain plus warranty from BMW to take care of that.

From a dealer near Jacksonville Fl. I may have received an exceptional deal but I def think the poster above can get that car at or below $40k.

It's amazing to me how many more 08's are being purchased on the used car market than 09's....there must be at least 6x the supply of 08's out there than 09's

I think its because 09's are still under warranty and later this year and next year the market will probably see much more of them. Also, it's entirely possible BMW actually made more 08's than 09's....i don't have any facts to back that up though
