Have got to look into it!! CF would look very nice in the interior. The CF leather look alike trim is not bad, but the center looks rather bland with only platic on it!!

Wow!!! I was told by my local BMW shop (saw the same picture) that what they meant by "carbon trim" is what I have in my car today. That is, carbon look alike leather etc...!! If you look at the price, that is probably correct unless BMW is selling the least expenssive CF interior pieces IŽve come across. I hope I am ALL WRONG though! I will call again and see if that is the case. Thanks!!!

Yes, there's a real CF trim available as a dealer installed option. It's also part of the Performance parts:

Best regards, south

Will look it up! Though the picture above shows a 335 and not a M3. They did have CF for the 335, problem is it has no opening for the Power, EDC & traction control!! IŽve already written the BMW shop to see if I can get them.

I was searching and found that this steering wheel would be part of the performance package for the 1-series (the pic you displayed is in the 135i). Anyone know when they will make an "M" version of this steering wheel? (since the one in the pic doesn't have the M-drive button)

The pic is from a 3 series, not the 135i (notice the double hump NAV). The buttons are no problem since the wheel comes without them and you just use the existing ones (it's only the wheel and the cover for the buttons).

Keep us posted if you are able to get the steering wheel. I definately would like to have my hands on one of those.

I wonder if this steering wheel will work for M3s with M-DCT? I can't remember if the paddles are a part of the steering wheel or mounted separate behind it.
