M3 touring?

I just read in the latest Roundel that BMW is considering an M3 Touring (Wagon). Of course not to be sold in the US. I think this could be the perfect answer for the replacement of Wife's SUV and her desire to be on the track. Sure it would push like a pig but it would have gobs of power!

Anyone want to photoshop that?

Looks quite cool!

The first one is clean (some colorchanges in the back (did it quickly)).

The second one is a little distorted, same shapes but the colors are consistent.

Enjoy!

Well, of course a touring is not as beautiful as the real deal (coupé's), but for a touring I think it's quite nice! Especially perfect for barman32's wife who wants a sports car combined with the functionality of a touring.

I think it's probably the most awesome touring out there!
I like it more than the M5 Touring, a little more agile.

I only heard about the Touring version today from my dealer, these cars are very popular in Europe but for some reason not quite so in the US or Australia.

I have always liked the Touring shapes, a SSII Touring M3 would be a very handy car!

I don't trust Roundel, they hyped up the XDrive5.0 engine that's a 4.4L TT as being the next M5 or //M X5 engine but it wasn't backed up by any sources and was pure speculation

Nice work, I'm sure a car like this would have market potential, just look at the RS4 Avant, it's everywhere.

Definitely, were I to have gone for the RS4 I would have taken the Avant.

Watch the weather forecast, take a few days off work, chuck your snowboards in the back of your M3, gun it down aux Trois Valleés. Job done.

I'm sure you're right! Guess I could always find a way to import it myself? Maybe they'll ship it to Mexico?

x1million!!!

in 2004 my wife would have bought a e46 M3 TOuring if available here. instead we got a s4 Avant. (it was a great car, but small) We have a family and large dog so wagons are the perfect alternative to SUV's (hate SUVs). Now we have this 300 hp twin turbo wagon.....

Yes, there's quite a few RS4 Avants in Stockholm as well. I kind of do envy them from time to time because of their quattro now when it's winter and I'm driving my parents (in other words, trying to drive responsible).
