Well Finally after waiting a few months i got my 2011 LeMans Blue Sendan. Unfortunally mother nature is not cooperating. Yesterday i barely got it home sliding all over the place. Hopefully in the next days wether gets better.

I recall reading that in Germany you need chains or special winter gear to drive. Is this true?

you need winter tires,....If police catches you, you have to pay a fine. It´s not well-defined in the law, but you "have" to put winter tires on from october to end of march. fine is from 20-40 euro....

Yeap, you need winter tires only if there is ice or snow from Oct to March.

Congrats on the new ride! Yep, the PS2s won't do much good in those conditions. Only 1 dusting here this year in the KMC. Just spending the winter scrubbing off the winter tread for no good reason so far....boring.

Congrats! Im deployed right now so my wife is keeping me informed of the fresh snow they just got this week. Funny she had just said two days ago "Well at least I have only had to shovel snow once this year! Heh heh heh!" JINX!

Looks like you live on post... You should get some door guards. Im just sayin.
