Might hit up GMR tomorrow with Darren ridin with me. Would anyone else be interested? Maybe around 11 am?

Glendora Mountain Road, connected to Glendora and Azusa by San Gabriel Mountain Road -> East Fork Road -> GMR. Splits off half-way to lead to Glendora Ridge Road -> Mt. Baldy Lodge.

Est. 20 minutes by freeway from Diamond Bar California/Rowland Heights California/City of Industry California/Walnut California areas.

GMR is one of the best canyon roads, I like going there but at night. Too many bikes and other cars in the day. At night its like a track up there. The back side gets shut down, kinda like an underground scene. lol have fun n b safe. Might b there sunday night.

I don't like it at night just because a lot of people act stupid then. When I used to go up there 2 years ago in my stupid Toyota, the racing and betting and unyieldingly constant line-crossing ended all the enjoyment for me. If you go on either weekdays, or in the spring or fall, barely anyone up there in the day.

Yea, pedestrian traffic sucks a bit, but I think it's safer than all the times I saw a Honda scrape by inches from my driver side door in my lane. Easier to dodge cyclists and SUV's than those sudden suprises.

Of course, this is my own PERSONAL feelings on this, anyone and everyone is free to go whenever they want of course. I've just found that overall I've suffered less in the day,

with all the rain you should wait a week or so after it stops, so the mudslides are over with and all of the debris is cleaned up. even if there are no mudslides there are going to be huge chunks of rocks all over the roads.

I wouldnt run it for at-least another week. I used to live 2 minutes away and when it rains its horrible. Specially after the fires.
