want to buy a car, 3 out of 4 are BMWs...some help

hey, i am planning to get rid of my 99 RX 300 because its well almost 10 years...ive been looking at a couple of cars all used ive done some researching but still need help

04,5,6 X3 CPO...Pros:CPO is nice, no tranny problems seen on 07s. X good in snow, cheapest prolly
Cons:uglier than one now, gas mileage might not be as good as 07,not as powerful

07 X3 pros:a bit better looking, more power,better interior
Cons:tranny, not CPO,bit more expensive

04-06 5 series XIs...
Pros: better interior, decent fuel economy, better looking, no tranny problems
Cons:more expensive

05 CPO Audi A6
Pros:looks good, quattro, fuel economy is good
Cons:bit under powered

so few questions regarding fuel economy due to high prices

1. 5 XI vs A6 3.2 quattro...who has better fuel economy

2. 04-06 X3 vs 07 X3....again, who has better fuel economy

3. 1 Vs 2 ?

Which would you have? all feedback is welcome! Thanks!!

Personally I like both the 5 and the A6 better than the X3, and they'd both get better fuel economy than the X and be more comfortable. I don't know about actual fuel economy figures tho, I'm sure a quick google search would yield the results you need.

your third option. It appears that this one has no problems and it better to pay the extra bit of money for something in mint condition rather than spending less and buying something you'll have to spend money on to fixup. It could cause more problems

What's wrong with getting a newer RX? I know, I know...not exactly driving excitement...but a very dependable SUV as a second car.

How about an Xi E91?

NOT a fan of any kind of SUV. Both the A6 and 5er are nice.

I'd get the A6. Pre-facelift 5er's are ugly imo. What kind of transmission does the A6 have?
