I never understood why Toyota even stopped making their supra. Its like Nissan now stopping their GT-R after it's such a hit. Weirdossssss

There were several reasons why Toyota stop making Supra, sales dwindled as price increased, by 1998 Supra was selling for 40k, recession in Japan, people's tasted changed during this period.

People forget back in 90's Japanese were producing some great sports cars Supra, GT-R, Rx7,300z and Nsx. Hopefully this will spark a new Japanese sport car renaissance.

My favorite FR Japanese cars! I owned an S13 240SX which I swapped an SR20DET into. Got the factory 180SX kouki aero kit, 2 piece Enkei wheels which I rebarreled for more dish. Tracked, autocrossed and daily drove that car. Great fun and always turned heads. It made the E46 M3 look like a joke. It was so much lighter and more powerful. This was like 14 years ago... time flies!

Just saw this car at the auto show today. Looks fantastic and really look forward to the production version.
