That's probably a good way to choose three; it's no better or worse than any other way to identify three things one has only a slim chance of getting -- be it due to supply or other things. After all, if it doesn't come readily to mind, one likely isn't that enamored with it. That is, provided one has a dream that pertains to cars....

What are your three? (If you mentioned them already, I'll see them soon as I scroll up the page.)

I'm not familiar with Pagani, other than recognizing the name. Does 760AM mean it was one of your dream cars at 8:00 this morning or is that the model of the car?

Wow. You really like cars. No overlap between the two lists.

Nothing wrong with that.

I would go F40 for classic but the other two remain the same with G65 AMG and Zonda Cinque

Pre 1960 rule kills too many amazing classic car choices. Why eliminate one of the best eras for classic cars? Pre 1970 would have been more fun.

First may not be pre-60's, but an original would be well over 200k.
Aside from the Cobra not being an original, all 3 cars are on ebay right now

In reality though, my wishlist for cars is 56 strong at the moment.

Agreed. My initial response would have been the Alfa GTV but that did not come around until the 1963. Once the 70s and 80s are involved, the game changes significantly.

There are definitely great cars from the 60s and 70s. I just like the over the top, comic book like styling of the earlier years. Hopefully the pics below illustrate what I mean. Also, being over 50, the gangster era and the roaring 20s has more nostalgic/romantic appeal to me.

1937 Bentley (for some reason the pic won't upload)

1937 MB 540K Speedster

Phantom Corsair -- A true dream car from the 1930s. (http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2009...an-appearance/ )

1937 Talbot Lago

1954 Kurtis

1949 Delahaye

1930 Delahaye

1938 Bugatti Type 57C

Well then I will swap my order and place the Chevy to Classic spot and take the F40 to 3rd spot. Then all should be in order

Pagani made a couple one of cars for special customers (RS for Marcos Hites [first one], 760LH for Lewis hamilton) with the uprated engine now pumping out 760HP. The initials of second lucky guys are the letters after the 760. AM are my initials so it was wishful thinking on my part

No problem. Check out the you tube video EVO magazine did on the 760RS. The sound is out of this world for a road car.

Too many cool cars. If the list was unlimited, in blocks of three, I'd take these, among others. No rules, right?

Porsche 917-30

Detomaso Pantera or Mangusta

Gumpert appollo.

Block #2

Second generation Corvette Stingray

Yenko Stinger Corvair

67 Hemi GTX

Block #3

Ferrari F40/F50

Ford GT40

Ferrari 330 P4
