It does on the 1M, but sadly not on the M3. Wonder which one deserves it more....?

This. The 1M gets it but the M3 doesn't.

The M3 doesn't have to advertise in neon lights.

Everyone knows when there sitting in an m3 so it doesn't light up. On the other hand people may forget they have a 1m so the car just reminds you lol just joking

OP, the absent lights are a blessing in disguise. Just as no single rain drop is blamed for a flood, no single ounce of weight is blamed for porkiness. Weight savings FTW!

Lol I wish that were true. I still can't get over the things that hand you the seat belt... a total waste of everything. Anyway, I was out and about when I made my original post. Thanks all for clarifying.

Here I always thought it will automatically turn on and ring a bell when we overtake a 911

Since we got this problem figured out I'm going to try a quick thread jack. Is there any way to brighten the Rev counter stick in the gauge? During the day I can barely see it when I do a quick glance. I can barely see it half the time.

It might have more to do with how good of shape you're in, but it's really not a far reach. I usually end up grabbing the seat belt before the motorized arm can hand it to me anyway... I'm that impatient!

Yes, you got me beat by at least 22 years (I'm 43). But if it will make you feel better, when I enter charity foot races (5k and 10k), I not only lose my age bracket, but the winners of the 65+ are usually faster than me
