Any good PHP devs looking for a job and wanting to move to San Diego?

Long story short, our company was acquired by a much larger company. They want to double the number of teams, so I need to hire 8 junior to mid-level PHP devs asap.

We are an agile scrum shop using PHP with zend framework. Also potentially beginning to investigate the switch to python with Django, so could be that as well.

PM me if you are interested.

Should note. Pay is good. Company caters lunch every monday, has free sodas, pays 75% healthcare coverage (health, dental, vision), and does 401k contribution matching.

I don't disagree with you for a large company setting, however, we're small and it works for us to enable feature releases every 2 weeks.

Ya I used to be at large size firm when we switched to agile from waterfall and it was a free fall. I hated my job and hated everything I had to do (was a PM). Moved to a much smaller SaaS firm and we do continuous release. Believe it or not it works! so I have to say some firms can pull off scrum, usually smaller ones and big fortunes usually can't

agile development isn't too bad. they all have their ups and downs and depends on the project.

that being said, waterfall model ftw ^_^ xD.

also, when speaking about $$, we need a full contract :P

Someone could tell me they give me 10 million for a project, but it could be a project that lasts 20 years and horrible .
or I could be paid 1 million for a more feasible project ^_^.

school ftw >_>. My software engineering teacher taught me well xD.

I have to agree, have done two large projects in above average sized environments that with agile scrum employed. Seemed like all we did was meet every morning and discuss the things we did not do because every bleating task was 2 weeks long. Made no sense what so ever to be agile with those task lengths.
