Then again, the people who have a say in "top tier gas" are the same group of people who are in the Board of Directors of OPEC.. I rather just get 91+ octane and get more intervals of oil changes.

I dunno about that. If you actually read up on the Top Tier website, it seems like it's all about the detergent additive levels and quality of the additives. Doesn't have anything to do with the gasoline portion of the fuel.

Grooved hood, grooved headlight, grooved bumper. $3200 to fix. plus another $500 for new clear bra. All in about $4k with rental.

He finally got out of the car and acted like nothing happened. I thought he didn't realize that he just bumped into my car, but I calmly asked him if he knew. He casually responded with a "yes". No apologies like this was an everyday occurrence for him, normal for him to just bump and hit cars.

Was very upset but had enough restraint to just shake my head, walk and drive away.

From now on, I will be standing in front or back of my car while pumping gas at Costco.
I've been backed into twice while I have been in cars. I've also come out to find my entire driver's side mashed in. No note.

ok I didn't read everything but........... no damage or not, why did you not take down their insurance info?

I'd file a claim against them no question. You hit my car, you're liable. Simple as that.

You did the right thing...I would have taken his insurance info since he showed zero contrition. I'm glad I'm out of the Philly area...there is a TERRIBLE problem with old people driving. I never realized how bad it was until I moved away from there.

If there is no damage what are they liable for?

I remember I was pulling into the asian shopping center in Austin and I cracked a joke, "lots of bad drivers around here." Sure enough, some vietnamese woman backed right into the rear driver's side door...luckily it was my wife's Mazda 3.

Seriously, I think the new worst group of drivers is now black women. From non-scientific evidence, I find that they are the rudest, most inattentive, combative, unskilled, and careless drivers. I've been rear ended 3 times...all...well you guessed it. In case you were wondering, I am not a member of the NAACP.

Top Tier Gas Website
BP is not on the top tier gas list and yet is the recommended gas by BMW.

That is because to be "top tier" you have to have ALL grades at the station graded. BP did not "pay" to have all grades certified so they are not Branded Top Tier. Their Ultimate grade with Invigorate is Top Tier gas. If you google why BP is not "top tier gas" you can read all about it. A lot of "top tier" is Marketing. All of the major gas chains in America are "top quality" gasoline.

Not sure that seems like a good idea...unless you like having your knees replaced. The issue is usually people not looking, not that they see you but just don't care.
