My 1991 320i hooptie has 305,000 kilo = 180,000+ miles. German cars are designed for driving at high speeds on the autobahn. Have you ever driven in Japan? I have, not too many opportunites to drive 100+ mph.

hehe like any other euro forums, its "punk the lil rice rocket enthuists" well if it makes u feel bigger? then go right ahead and talk s*** about the hondas or the nissans, but u know what they ARE in no doubt VERY reliable, i know becuz i had a VW GTI BRAND NEW!!! roke down on me MANY times, and my frend bought a "used" civic with 90 000 miles on it, and he is still driving it.

anyways my point is, dont hate the jap cars.
the only reason why people bash on japanese cars is becus of there immature community that tells them "oh jap cars are for poor people" or "yeah man jap cars are just too RICEY" lol wtf stupid dum followers going along with the crowd. i mean dont get me wrong i love love love EURO cars, all the super cars are EUROPEAN. i just love them, BUT i would like to look at ars as equal. if a car is good, then its good, and plus the s2000 has the best ratings in performance than any sports car out there counting the reliability part.

you buy a s2k and rape the shit out of it, ull be fine.
you buy a
bmw z4, porche 911, lotus exiege, audi R8. try raping the shit out of thoes cars for like a week straight. trust me u will blowsomething.
as of the s2k u rin that mofo and rape it like no other, u will not have as much problem as thoes euro cars, i know bcuz i use to be staf for driftevents and some guys bring there euro cars to show off, and then most the times they blow something. so for theos jap car haters.. i gotz couple words to say "Shut up, you are more annoying than a Fart can"

Haha...amen brother. You saved me the energy with such a rebuttal. My first car was a 2002 Jetta and while I loved it, but what a HEAP. The window fell thru the door and it often threw the check engine light. Its not impossible to respect both German and Japanese cars. A buddy of mine is shopping for a Honda with 100k b/c thats all his budget allows. He dosent need to worry. Even at 100k, Hondas still arent cheap though.

My 89 civic has 189K on it and I don't think it's gonna die, even though I keep trying to kill it every single day. I remember going about 2+ years on it without changing the oil and when I did, about half a quart came out of it...haha. I can't believe this car is still running. There's so many engine parts that are still stock on this, it's insane. Definitely, if you want something where you could care less whether you maintain it or not and want it to run for decades...JDM is the brand, not European or American. Ever since I've purchased a German car, I've gotten to appreciate both brands.

Hooptee? I got yer' hooptee...71' Buick Skylark, 350 V-8, Carter 4-barrel, once he gets out of his own way, which, is about 30mph, he transforms into a two-ton rocket, not quite 135i-like, he lolls-about on leaf-springs, thrilling nonetheless. He was my daily driver for quite some time, an awesome car, plus, he can smoke an S2000. Hijack?:iono: Sorry.

Haha...I know people who have personally had the same experiences. I mean the Japanese engineer these cars to withstand high tolerances. Thats part of the reason that horrid IS-F only redlines to 6800ish versus the M3's 8400. Toyota required the car to make it to 200k.

the best way or the most effective way to kill a honda is to just nuke it, and maybe~ just maybe that might work

you're going about it the wrong way.

These are 2 different cars.

and you're measuring them by hp.

One car is Twin Turbo 3.0L that uses no LSD and certain types of tires and suspension.

The other car is a 2.0L N/A that has LSD and uses different types of tires and suspension.

Telling me you can mod a S2000 to outperform the 135i is something for me to laugh at

yes...if you're talking about straightline performance...you might be able to out tune the 135i. But you're madly wrong if you think you can match one car to another like this.

In the end...S2000 FTW

I don't think I would trust you behind the wheel of a car seeing as how your grammar and spelling is deplorable. It has come to my conclusion that you probably are maybe 12? If not please take time in your posts and think before you type. If you do actually get the S2000 enjoy it, and don't put lives in danger.
