Sucks to live in the big city sometimes.

This one was put on the showroom floor tonight in Beaumont. They also have a Silverstone II Sedan with Fox Red Novillo Extended. Both of them look great in person. I was really impressed, so much so, I believe I am putting down the deposit on Sat.

Sorry that I do not have more pictures of the Beige Interior. I do have some more mobile phone pictures of the Melbourne Red under the dealership lights. This one was loaded and priced at $69k+. It had the Novillo Extended, the Premium Sound, obviously the 19" wheels, Technology, Premium, and Cold Weather Packages.

I was on the fence about buying the M3 vs the 335i. After seeing it today, I'm leaning towards the M3, probably with the M-DCT when it is made available.

MR is a beautiful color, tons of people are scared of it, but once you see it in person you see its beauty...

I have never seen a color look so different in every picture of it. It looks great in the showroom but not so much outside. If it wasn't metallic, I would consider it.

DCT is available now in the coupe, mine rolls off the assembly line tomorrow, 3/7.

That's what I thought, but the manager told me otherwise. I thought for sure it wouldn't be on the configurator if it weren't available right away. No worries, I'll talk to him about it on Saturday.

As for the Melbourne Red, I liked it, but not enough to buy it in red (and I frequently buy cars in red). I am not sure if it's because I am coming off an Electric Red 330ci, or if I don't like the metallic in the Melbourne Red, but I am leaning towards a less flashy color. If Imola was still available, I can't say I wouldnt be interested though.

For me, I don't like the attention that red attracts. Sometimes its the expensive type of attention.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, IMO beige interior is a no-go, no matter what car, no matter what exterior color. Am I crazy?

Best regards, south

My dealer just got the same red / beige combo car. I just got a quick look at it yesterday and the red looked really nice but I did not care for the beige at all.....I am awaiting my CA's call right now for a test drive, they are finishing up the prep work. I am fired up!!!!!!!!

I just test drove the same color combo car Lafayette, La. Looked pretty nice. The car is pretty loaded. It is not sold, so anyone in the local Louisiana area if you are looking for a sunroof coupe. Moss Motors has one available now. MSRP is 69,??? Man, I have about 3 more weeks before my sedan will be in. It cannot come soon enough.

I drove the SS FR sedan at advantage midtown. Met my lofty expectations, and here are a few notes:

Engine noise on this car is much less than the E46, but exhaust note is much louder. Part of this is due to observing the 5k rpm restriction for break-in

SS has a pink glare to it in certain light angles

The clutch is much lighter than an E46, drove without as much effort

Even observing 5k rpm limit, acceleration is still awesome!

FR interior is very very nice!
