No Shipping Info !?

So i got off phone with the CA just now. He told me my car is on the open water now and scheduled to arrive a US port on 1st of May. However, according to the Computer VIR (Vehicle Inquiry report). Theres no shipping info or name of the ship available. is that possible ???



I am excited to hear its coming in sooner than i thought however, i also felt kinda weird because theres no shipping info ( name of the ship, what company etc)

Please help me out here if anyone have similar case.

Look on the various shipping sites and see what ship comes into your port, Charleston or New Jersey, for 1 May.

See he above. Mine was a douche and did not tell me shipping info either, just the date, so I had to guesstimate what ship it was on.

dealers can get the shipping info, it's just kind of hard to find it. Most CA's don't even know about it. Your best bet is to find out when your car left Europe and find out which ship left the same day.

It all comes down to the sheer fact that they are dumb and NEED TO KNOW the basics!

If the CA knows that you are on a ship in open waters and is schedule to hit US shores on May 1 then he knows what ship its on, the voyage number and the bill of lading. You get that info and some of us here I know for sure can help you track it.

When my CA pulled up my car's status last weekend, he simply double-clicked on an icon and it pulled up everything. I could clearly see the ship's name; estimated arrival. Not too hard.

If your VIN is not showing up on the 2wglobal.com's site, perhaps its coming to Charleston on a K-Line ship?

Now the best hope is on a K-Line ship which will confirm the status of my car. otherwise. if the VIN doesnt show up on the WW site i think it will still be at the port waiting for a vessel, and thats not looking good.

I will try call my CA again tmr. btw, if its a Kline ship. are there any shipping info too ??

If your CA said the car is due in on May 1, well, there is a K-Line ship that is due in to Charleston on May 1--The Western Highway.

Left Germany on April 19. If you call the 1-800 BMW NA number--does it say that your vehicle is in route? I'm sure that it is.

Go to www.kline.com

Then select "Schedules"

Then select RoRo/Car Carriers--there is an Excel file that show their schedule--just updated today.

Shade....try this--your ship (I'm suspecting) is in the Atlantic--this site updates periodically--you can track your ship home.

My ship was from the K-Line company and it was hell to track. I couldn't pull my car up on their site. I just know that the boat my car was on was really fast. Left Bremerhaven on March 25 and got to Charleston on April 5. Do you know if your car is coming to the NY port or SC port?

You are guessing again buddy. When my CA first told me my car is on a ship it was March 28 and based on the vessel info I found out that it left Bremerhaven on March 25th 3 days earlier. So you car could have left a couple of days ago so therefore it could be on the Western Highway as well expected to arrive May 1.

I use the search function in NYK-Line site, as shown... these schedule popped out ... i am not sure too. gonna try call my CA again tmr to confirm.
