HRE or BBS?

Hey OP, thinking about selling my HRE for BBS. Had the HRE on my space grey but not sure how I feel about them on my alpine white. Which wheels look better on Alpine White. Any other better looking wheels out there that are light and forged? Thanks!

BBS if you want the FI. HRE if you want the FI replica in a three piece or custom color.

within 1 lb. IIRC 18" FI are 16 lb fronts and mine are 17-17.5 lb fronts. Didn't realize OP was looking for 19" either.

Okay, the 2nd lightest wheels you can get. But you can buy a few sets and still be cheaper than one set of BBS FI

I was just curious. I think the weight difference between these wheels are all negligible anyways. Never felt a difference between the weight of FI's and TE37's.

Agreed, it's hard to tell the diff from 1-2 lbs, although when I went from OEM 220 which are still light, the steering became very light from the new wheels, almost like a Caddy. When I put Work Brombacher on, the steering was very heavy due to the wheels weighing a ton.

A caddy? Gosh I hope upgrading to better wheels wouldn't make your car drive worse

Beautiful rims though - Used to have the re30's and loved them!

BBS for sure. HRE P43s will forever be my favorite wheels though.

I went from OEM ZCP wheels to crazy light 18 inch set and yes, the steering rack became exceptionally light. I would get the servo tune if it bothers you. That's the only negative I can think of.

As for HRE or BBS, I would go with HRE simply because you can spec the offsets. Many guys running FI with spacers which defeats the purpose.
