Perhaps this is your Frank? http://tuningtechfs.com/aboutus.php

If so, he comes highly recommended by people that I highly recommend.

That's him, and there's a reason why he's highly recommended, he is a great guy to work with, and will go out of his way to help you out.

If you wanted that tune you will need to get a flash loader(my genius) have him email you the file and load it to your car. the flash loader can be bought from him or active autowerke they call it a simon but its the same thing. Give him a call if you're interested 14436038543

I must admit, those are great gains for only a tune and K&N air filter (I'm assuming stock exhaust mod doesn't help much). If these results can repeated, this tune should be selling like hot cakes.

Anyone else willing to try this???

That being said, is Frank to pushing the safety limits of the motor?

I believe german cars are over engineered but to answer your question he is not pushing the limits on the motor. If he did, that would caz alot of problems m3 v8's are not cheap. Besides there are alot of supercharged kits pushing way more whp than this tune.

I'm eventually going to go this route (OEM exhaust mod+test pipes+tune) is it really loud? Can you maybe take a video. I'm sure it's loud when you get on it, but under 3k rpm is it much louder than stock?

Impressive I've always wondered if I would hit 400whp. Need to dyno when I have time.

Something is really off, atleast with the first two graphs. Your torque is falling off way too quickly after 7k and your power line flattens out at 7k-8400 much more than it should. Look at any other healthy car's dyno plot, the horsepower curve is completely linear until 8400.

Its like the top end of yours is running out of air. Oddly your last dyno looks a bit better.

Something is not working right on your car as I have never seen a dyno plot flatten out at 7k.

I would get a BT tool and log your camshaft lift and compare it to the specs of what it is supposed to be. Second I would look at spark and timing to see if its hitting timing targets up high.

The numbers themselves are good but when the shape of the graph is off that is much more of a concern.

Yes, I have no other mods except k&n filter. I also have the acm exhaust mod which gives 0 hp, mostly for the sound. I wish I would have gotten the dyno before the software flash but oh well

The reason is probably because I still have the rear cats and OEM xpipe. Supposedly very restrictive. I will end up upgrading my xpipe later but will have to get resonators to quiet her down. I do have a bt cable and will try to log when I get a chance but she is running strong. Thanks for the advice man

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that tune run you? and how is it compared to BPM or ESS?
