Accidents will show up on your record, in most states, for a period of 3 years. Some states allow insurance companies to charge you a different rate if you have had a certain number of accidents, regardless of fault, over a certain period of time.

There are many factors that go into an insurance premium calculation such as age, gender, marital status, driving record, insurance/credit score, prior insurance record, where you live, and most importantly, which insurance company you go to. So it won’t be easy for you to find accurate information through this forum. Most companies have websites now so simply ask for a free car insurance quote on any company’s website.

Agreed. There are just too many variables, which are specific to each person, that factor into the final cost.

Over 30 with multicar discount and other discounts. I pay $65 a month for full coverage plus rental car. 20 year olds will pay 3 times that.

M3 $65 a month
X5 $64 a month

Update: I just looked at my bill and its $127 a month for both cars for full coverage and midsize rental car with a $500 deductable. Probably be in the $50s with $1000 deductable but IMO thats way to much.

So thats: $64 for M3 and $63 for X5.

Really hard to believe at your age, regardless of marriage and record. Seems way too low.

$1400 annually with SafeCo for the M3. $500 deductible. 3 cars on the policy - 4 drivers ages 53, 52, 25, 23

This is a new policy as National seems to be pulling out of Florida and wont renew. National was about the same cost as SafeCo
