oh noes!!! im so afraid to track my E92M. I have never tracked a car I had a lien on. I am terrified of what could happen. I was thinking about picking up a miata for a little while. We I hope you guys get the e36 fixed quick. Sick car. Hate to see it hurt

I was at the same track day event but I was old-granny'ing my S2000 around the track as I'm a complete noob. I still learned a lot and had a great time minus the e36 issue. That's the beauty of open-track days: it can be as chill or intense as you want. I'd highly recommend it as even "taking it easy" you'll learn a lot about your car, your skills (mainly lack there-of), and how to properly drive. BTW, congrat's on the E92! I look forward to seeing her! Speaking of e92's... you may want to browse through the first page of this thread http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=519490 Full write-up coming soon: http://www.detailedimage.com/Ask-a-P...ed-perfection/ |

not to mention i am not sure I am fully prepared to care for the cars paint in the proper manner after one of your full restorations. I thought about it for my e36 (it needed it bad. and it was black) but at the end of the day, as amazing as the work is, I know I wont give the car the care it will need once you did your magic on it. I don't have time to wash cars like I used to and end up going to touch less washes 99% of the time.

Totally understandable and we always tell people that what we do is a commitment: if you're not willing / able to uphold your end, you're better off not doing it in the first place.

Galgo go go! Wow you stepped up! If you decide to take it to the track, just watch out for that crazy guy with fuzzy hair in the e36 M3 in the wet!!! He goes like hell! Oh the memories and the sweat from thoughts of the new bank-owned E90 being introduced to the wall...
I can't make this event. Bloody hell. I have a race at Grattan that day and i intend to take the victory! When is the next one? These things are fun! Oh.. track day at Waterford on July 2nd. You in? Pick a car, any car. Denny

wow I never knew you were on the forums Denny. I will make sure Dominique and I get out to see one of your races. I do intend on showing up to Waterford this year but most likely in a e36 328 thats been fully stripped out. As long as I have a lien on the e92 it is only going to show up to track events I can insure. I will have the e92m out on the BMW CCA track day this year though.
