2011 E9X factory spec tires

First time poster - So go easy.

Wondering if anyone knows what tires came on 2011 E90s from the factory apart from the Michelins. Been told BMW used continentals on cars coming from the factory, but I can't find what model?

Reason for query is I'm looking at a second hand E90 M3 with a slightly less than perfect service history, done less than 15,000km since 2011, but has Continental Max Contact MC5s on it. Seems a bit suss?

Njae, wouldn't agree here.
Judging from date code mine was on second round rear rubber when I bought the car at 11.8k miles. At that Point I thought it was a bit suspicious but when changed all four at 19k miles I realized this car has an appetite for tyres. Without much hard driving really.
Went from Michelin PS2 to PSS that seems to hold up better.

I lied, just checked.. I have Potenza 970's (dealer put them on before I bought car 2 years ago). They seriously have very little wear in 15k. I'll probably replace them with PSS's later this year.

No wear after 15k miles - You need to practice your turning more mate..

I got 22k miles on mine but a couple of guys on here were saying they only last 8k or so. I believe it, I'm really easy on my daily tires.

I assume ZCP's came with different tires to non ZCP. I have a ZCP and it came stock with P0's. Just put PSS on them and can tell the difference (much better) after 3 days. Highly recommended, the hype is true although good luck finding a set. I am pretty sure I got one of the last in the USA. They are on European back order at the moment.

My rears were down to the bar at 17 with PS2's...no hard driving at all...so I agree at least the rears have a appetite.
