Changed my mind......
I had put a deposit on a SSII and the dealer is telling me that it going to be next to impossible to get the car from another dealer. I honestly believed that I had talked myself into the SSII w/Black interior due to my impatience in waiting on what I really want to arrive. Dealer found me an AW with Bamboo Beige/Sycamore trim. It will be about two weeks before it will be here so that will be tough. Only thing it doesn't have is extended leather (which IMO is a good thing with the Bamboo Beige).
I have had many white cars in the past and (despite being ribbed by my buddy who says that white cars look like rental cars) I believe that white is where my heart is (I ended up with a deep sea blue 535i because I didn't have the patience to wait on the white one). Just hoping that the bamboo beige is darker than the cream beige in my 535i. |

my dealer has an alpine white with black leather and cf trim in stock. I believe the car is fully loaded. premium, tech, premium sound, park distance control, 19" wheels etc. If you are interested PM me for details.

sounds good, except I really would have gone with the extended leather. You are right, that would have been a good thing with bamboo beige. I have a SSII on extended black. I love it.. good luck.

Sound like SSII is in high demand. I would not have thought that another "grey" color would generate high demand. But Atlantic Blue, maybe

Huh? I don't think beige extended would look good....if were all black, then yes, it would look good.

forget what the dealer tells you, demand what you originally want
... if you are paying top dollar I wont tell them dictate to me whats convenient for them to sell. But if AW is another of your choices, thats cool too sorry for the flame!

AW rocks. I have extended leather in black and visually it does not make much of a difference. It sure feels nice though.......

search for other cars, you should get black interior, is more for the m3, silverstone looks great, i ordered interlagos blue (cf roof) with black novillo (non extended) i think with black interior you won't notice if it is extended, and you'll save $1,100. palladium silver interior is also a great option. if you are buying a $70k car, make sure you will feel %100 comfortable with your car, no matter if you have to wait a while, search the dealers, there are a lot m3's on stock with diferent combinations and options, check out ebay.

I can say definitively that AW/BB/sycamore is the absolutely the best combo (since that is exactly my combo)
Maybe I should say IMHO?

I would think a darker interior would go better with AW. Something like fox red or black, with CF trim. But that's just me. My advice is to wait until you get exactly what you want. You've waited this long. It's still very new and if you can wait until next year you will have the peace of mind that most of the bugs and glitches will have already been worked out. Patience is a virtue.
