Dynos need be used as validation of claims, as its expected on all hardware-based mods (pulleys, exhaust, superchargers, etc), why not expect the same criteria from software?

No tuner should be exempt from this. Before/after dynos are essential for turning those opinions into facts.
This!

I'm amazed at the number of people claiming that an extra 10-15 hp is even noticeable.

I've seen this "herding" effect on forums with previous cars before. Everyone was going crazy about tune X and tune Y completely changing their cars and what not. I tried a lot of them back then, and most of them were really not impressive or plain sucked.

For the M3 I can imagine the gains with a full exhaust for example, but with an otherwise stock car, or just mufflers, 91 octane, and stock air intake, it's hard to imagine having the car completely transformed with just a tune. Small improvements and tweaks here and there I can understand, but to the level of some reviews I've been reading lately it's hard to believe.

Mod #1 on a M3 "full catless"

20-30whp ! Heck , slap a Dinan Xpipe and apply that gain 500 earlier in the rpm range = juicy

Fortunately, more power and torque is just a side benefit of proper performance software. Smoothness, driveability and part throttle are equally important.

That's a lot of speculation if you haven't tried the tune yourself though. Comparisons to some other tune and some other car are not even relevant. You have to remember that power isn't everything. Not everyone purchases a tune cause they are trying to achieve a certain power number.

We don't coach clients on what to say if/when they decide to review our services. We also have no control on whether a posted review will be negative or positive. It's clear that people are enjoying our products for one reason or another. People can scrutinze whether X number was achieved or whether it's valid only if it's on X dyno all day long but at the end of the day, we have 100% customer satisfaction and are proud of the service we offer. If there was someone truly unhappy about our products or claims of performance, you would have seen it on here by now.

Try removing 15hp from your engine with a tune.

You will notice it.

A genuine 15hp is a lot. People often make the mistake of seeing it as a percentage however, 15hp is 15hp. It is enough for you to our drag anoher car with 15hp less especially once into the higher gears.

We gain 20-25hp on V10's, see how the 60-130 times compare.
