New member introduction - Silicon Valley, CA
I recently purchased a pristine 08 CPO E90 M3 from a member in SoCal, and the car is now my daily driver and my dad-mobile with two child seats in the back. My boys absolutely love this car, and my older one always asks me to "make sports car noises" by gunning it WOT, which I happily comply when it's safe to do so in short bursts.
 The car is 6MT which is a non-negotiable must for me when I was looking for my M3.The car is bone stock, sparkling graphite metallic on black Novillo interior, technology+premium packages with extended premium sound. I really wish it didn't come with the sunroof but I won't complain. It now shares garage space with my other love: a stealthily-modded twin-turbo 6-speed hardtop (rare combination) MKIV Supra that is my weekend fun car. In Silicon Valley there are a gazillion "plebeian" E9x 3-series out there, so my car kind of "blends in", which is part of the car's appeal to me. I plan to remove the rear trunk badge and paint the stock muffler flat black to hide that hedious canister to further "disguise" the car so that only a cognoscenti can tell that this isn't your generic 3-series from afar... Looking forward to meeting new folks on this forum! |

Congrats! I'd love to hear about the differences/similarities between the two cars. I've heard of great things about the Supra back in the day. I rode in one back in college, and I heard that it rivaled cars 3-4x its price tag performance-wise.
