Gintani Sport vs Akra Evolution.. v.Exhaust Sound

so which is it? I've read several threads and seems like there are conflicting reports on which one is "less" loud (compared to OEM).

Some threads are saying they are both the same, very close to OEM at sub 4000rpm, and then open up after that.

Other threads are saying the Akra is much more quiet.

has anyone had both and care to share your experience?

I have Gintani Sport Exhaust, Gintani X-Pipe with highflow cats. Sound is amazing! Crisp, no drone, Beast when you put the hammer down! I would say a comparable volume to Akra but note is more like a tuned v8 race car. Not sure if this helps.......

would you say the sound is at worst equal (in Decibels) to the Akra? I'm want to keep it as stealth as possible in terms of volume.

Akra is only stealth on the inside. outside it still makes a good amount of noise.
I had Eisenmann race, Akra, now Gintani sport.

Gintani hands down the most power.

then comes the Akra

Eisenmann sounds the most exotic, but I feel it makes the least power.

could you describe the difference in sound between the gintani sport and the akra, in terms of interior volume?

I have had the full Akra for 3 days now and I can tell you it is a lot louder than stock. I read all those posts about "same as stock sound" and I can tell you that this is not the case with the unit I have. Much louder. It had it on the track yesterday and it does provide a good power boost. On the straight I hit 140mp without any real effort whereas in the past I would be much futher along before I'd hit that speed. Incredible!

I heard a Gintani Sport with a Fabspeed X-pipe and that was loud!!! I couldn't live with that.

interms on inside cabin noise it can very with the sport and akra

because cats cancel out noise the most!!! so I would say if you get the Gintani+HFC it will come close to inside cabin noise.

but I hve the non HFC only 2 resonators so it is about 15-20% louder. then the Akra interms of inside cabin noise.

honestly the if your really into sound noise get the Akra.

but if you want to have fun somethings... and like to get the best performance out of your exhaust then I would got with the 4resonator set up +Gintani sport.
