I can't have nice things - busted lip
I had a little parking accident yesterday. I saw the parking curb, so I slowly pulled up...but obviously pulled up a little too much. Then I heard a big crack and little shiny pieces flying everywhere.
Bye bye Arkym lip. It was nice knowing you. May have to go with Challenge after the winter. |

that looks like a clean enough break that you may be able to have it fixed

I'm sure its a form of necessity, rather than style. Much better alternative than punching holes in the front bumper cover.

Had the guys at IND look at it today. Not worth fixing. Little bummed that I only had it for a couple months. It's the CF Arkym lip - but definitely fiberglass and lots of glue involved in the piece.
Yeah - I know the plate looks like ass. But the tickets are $50/pop and they add up quick. The look horrified me at first, but I've gotten used to it. Maybe I'll get used to the no-lip look too. |

never understood the fascination with lips on this forum
the front of the car is already damn low why would i want to make it even lower?? i've never been a fan of anything that looks stuck on if it isn't part of the bumper it looks cheap but still sorry you damaged it, those things are expensive |

Yeah sucks. Chicago not to kind to lips period. On second lip myself, actually have the vorsteiner front bumper and thinking about going to stock for winter, not sure if the lip can survive a city winter. Challenge looks nice, good luck

grrrr. I had the clubsport lips on my ZHP; I hated curbs. I would park 1 foot away. Just use the reflection on the car parked next to you. That is how I did it. It worked 95% of the time. Good luck

My condolences. I say it's the curb's fault... damn curbs! I leave my ass end hanging out to avoid this kind of thing.
