Mercedes E55 on BBS wheels...

Belongs to a friend, we detailed it and I took some pictures.

Pictures were taken with a Canon 50D and some L glass.

Seriously...car looks great! What is the it lowered on? Thats my favorite E-class body style. Its aging very well even with all the newer models and that is very un-Mercedes like.

You buddy can swap in the updated head lights for that model to freshen up the front end too.

Thanks! The car is on airbags from the factory so he bought a lowering module that drops the car past OEM spec. It's all software.

Not sure how that would work since it would most certainly hit the fenders.

You most certainly can. The air suspensions has various settings, which in turn lowers or raises the car. The lowering module lowers is quite a bit lower than the stock lowest setting, which is what you see in this picture.

rear wheels are too recessed for a staggered set up. fyi I am in my 40s and prefer a true staggered set up. rear offsets seem too conservative and the stance looks like a Nissan maxima.
