That may be the ONE car I'd take over a 458 italia...would still be a tough choice though. Interesting TopGear or InsideLine comparison out there.

I love this car. I would take this over the 458 in a heartbeat.

People are surprisingly critical about this car's aesthetics. I personally find it to be absolutely gorgeous, and a natural evolution from the legendary Mclaren F1.

The powerplant and sound, on the other hand, is a bit of a disappointment. Wish it had been fitted with a NA engine.

Same with Mclaren F1, regular version didnt look that great, but LM & GTR versions looked like beasts. The MP4-12C race versions looks awesome also.

I feel no passion from this car. Well, I feel no passion from McLaren (I would have to rethink about this sentence about the F1). For me, at least, a Ferrari is at least 60% heritage. But don't get me wrong, the 458 is insanely gorgeous. There is just something about a Ferrari that I can't tell... but no other company has it, and it makes what a Ferrari is.

It's all opinion I guess. I think the MP12-4C looks alot better than the 458 Italia. I think the gap between the bumper and hood on the 458 looks dumb and the headlights too.

I prefer the F430 over the 458.

I second that... F430 > MP4-12C > 458 Italia ....... In the looks department.

Looks are of course subjective but I'd say F430 Scuderia > 458 Italia > MP4-12C.

While the Italia is faster by every metric, I actually preferred driving the Scud.
