Finally did it!

M3 Sedan:
M-DCT
Technology Package
Cold Weather package.

I went with Silverstone metallic. I was REALLY leaning towards IB and I was able to see one side by side at another dealer but Silverstone looked much better than I had anticipated.

CA puts the order in tomorrow, hopefully I have some updated info on the production date and such. But he did say that I would have it by mid June. If that is true or not I don't know but I am excited!

Difeo BMW in Tenefly, NJ. The CA was honest and upfront about everything, which was like a breath of fresh air compared to all the others I went to (about 3). I got MSRP and he threw in the iPOD adapter for free.

Wife sure wasn't happy at the total but I don't care. For me, this is once in a lifetime.

Congrats. You made a great choice of colors. I saw an SSII IRL today for the first time. Tough color to judge from photos. I saw it both outside and inside, and it far exceeded my expectations. Outside, it did have a blue hue but definitely not baby blue (which is flat) as some have called it. It was more of a blueish silver tone of using the wrong white balance on a digi camera. Inside the showroom it was a cool, light silver hue.

Good luck on getting it as quickly as possible.

Good call on that one my wife tried to say the samething until I reminded her I bought her car off the show room floor fully paid for and I only wanted one car payment and it would be the M3 fully loaded without M-DCT

little did I know I would be over a year from that day and still waiting on my M3 to be built

I don't need to sit here and justify things but for those men (and women) that are on the fence, I decided if I don't get it now I never will. When we have a baby in a year it's a lot easier to lump on baby expenses than a car after all things said and done.
