Very cool video. It's not as hard as many think it is, especially in a M3 but you need some huge balls to do it in your own car just meters away from the guardrails. You have to be 100% spot on and that's difficult over such a long course. Respect!

For those who haven't been lucky enough yet to drive there, it's the hardest track I can possibly think of to be doing this. Narrow, bumpy, big changes in grip and camber and lots of things to hit.
Even if I was much better at this than I currently am, I still wouldn't be doing it there in an E9x. Total respect for our forum fellow!

Cool, but drifting in the rain is far easier than the dry. Initial traction loss required to begin the drift is almost a given. I've got some decent footage of drifting my mega cab Dodge diesel in the snow, none in the dry though that comes close...
IMO the last thing the M3 needs is a taller shifter and what, a Sirius radio mount left on the windshield while at the track? Even if its a track computer or lap timer mount, get it out of there. It looks to be serving no purpose other than blocking vision on this day... Edit: you should be able to do that in the dry with 245s all around! |

Part of my tires are there as well, even if not drifting but just driving.
A must to do at least once in your life.
