Neither. Get the X5M and get the best of both.

Cayenne Turbo or for about $30k less, an X5M. M5 has just too much power/torque for RWD. Just ask M5 owners....car is useless in first gear with the DSC off....and borderline useless in 2nd. Car needs AWD or 275/345 tires at the least. Cayenne with winter tires is also unstoppable in snow, if that is any consideration.

Neither, Audi S7, it looks better then both, comparable performance to the M5, comparable practicallity to the Cayenne and is cheaper then both!!

S7 has a hatchback opening so is as easy to load as an SUV, has a huge amount of cargo space and is AWD.

But if you can't decide between both like the OP, just get something that do everything well like the S7 and at the same time save a bunch of money!

I personally don't get much joy driving a fast SUV. The acceleration is cool but it is still a heavy and tall SUV that can't change direction as well as a car. That being said, SUV's are great if you need ground clearance and / or extra space. My first choice would be a fast wagon if I needed SUV space.
